I work for collective remembrance, liberation and life – the restoration of bodies, hearts, minds, communities, watersheds, territories, nations, and the true sovereignty of each. This website is an intersection of my art and service, where my passion and purpose meet through devotion, expression, and action.
I currently live and work between the East and West Cascades of Oregon and Washington, traveling up and down along the body of the great Columbia River where I was born – Nch’i Wana – Big River, the one who gathers in and connects all the watersheds that make up Salmon Nation, or the Cascadia Bioregion. I spend most my time on 88 acres of forests, oak savannas, gardens, creeks, and meadows belonging to a community land trust and education center in the Southern Willamette Valley, where I specialize in local and regional relationship building, supporting regenerative models for education, community resilience, and self-governance. I also offer private coaching and education services as a holistic health guide, weaving both ancient and modern understandings of and tools for wholeness.
In my free time and I am journeying, studying, singing, being with family and community, gardening, brewing and fermenting, napping, conversing, playing, or courting waterfalls, rivers, and oceans…
I consider myself an artist and a guide – a witness, muse, and midwife to one’s deeper, soulful nature and memory of origin –
as experienced in transcendence and immanence,
within and through relationship, diversity, unity and paradox,
the breath of giving and receiving, walking each other Home…
I believe in the incredible self-healing power of our body and spirit as expressions of the ultimate intelligence and spiral dance of Nature & Spirit. I am here to help others remember that power and reclaim their sovereignty as they align themselves to the laws and principles of Nature. In this way, health and other life crises become generative gifts of radical renewal – if we choose to accept their sacred invitation and step through the threshold.
Beware your attachments to comfort, convenience, and quick fixes! This approach to healing will flip modern paradigms & mechanisms of “sick-care” upside down; this is about tending to the whole being that you are, playing the long game, and being willing to confront head- & heart-ON the shadows, symptoms, and difficult emotions that we’d often rather suppress or placate. I am here to tell you to STOP living a half-life and placating your demons –
I am here to help you do the hard things, face your fears, and choose LIFE…
Your body, mind, and spirit is capable of so much more than you think!
Healing yourself is healing each other and the planet.
My approach is integral, holistic, lifestyle- and relationship-oriented. That means whole food and herbs, healthy relationships and habits, and clear loving intentions. Vitality and balance are cultivated through balance within all of our bodies (physical, mental, emotional, energetic) and with care for all our relations. That includes our relationships to ourselves & each other, to our food, soil, cultures, lineages, and the stories that hold us (hostage, in some cases). Through a blend of Indigenous & Western science, plant allyship, dialogue and prayer, I support the journey of honoring and purifying the seeds and gifts of our ancestral inheritance, learning again how to listen and bloom where we are planted.

I take inspiration from the arts & sciences of permaculture & soil regeneration, the body & lands that hold me, ancestral and Indigenous wisdom, song & dance, grief & praise, and all of the roots, shoots, fruits, flowers, & hearts that have nourished me along the way.
I give thanks to all the lineages, elders, friends and family who have helped foster and raise me into a vibration of love, an authentic expression of heritage, place, service, sovereignty and memory, and who continue to hold me accountable to these gifts of grace and beauty in this life.
Every other month, I offer a 22-day detox challenge with beginner and intermediate variations. This is a brief yet thorough introduction to the key principles and applications of holistic detox. Experience self-healing and food as medicine in this guided container.

As a Holistic Health Guide, I specialize in regenerative detoxification & whole-systems level healing, focusing on the body. I use therapeutic diets, herbal protocols, re-framing techniques and lifestyle recommendations to help my clients reach their health goals. These protocols offer the possibility of short-term reset in service to long-term health- & self-sovereignty.
As a teacher & facilitator, I offer transformative containers and education in the form of group courses, live workshops, and in-person events.
As a Community “Hygienist” & Rites of Passage Specialist, I offer consultations with individuals and communities and help co-create containers, ceremonies, and place-based processes of transformation, transition, and cultural regeneration. This work is about caring for Life & Death, tending the heart(h) fire, building community resilience, opening to our grief & joy, and offering our service to Life & the seventh generation coming. The following are key areas of philosophical orientation and program design.
✷ Community-based Rites of Passage
• place-based, participatory & action-based research
• youth, family, and community empowerment
• intergenerational exchange, pyramid mentoring
• community centering and collaboration around youth, land, water
• cultivation of new possibilities, careers and life paths
• solidarity and gift economies, cooperative development
✷ Indigenous Science & Place-based Knowledge
• ancestral tools for ecological and social balance
• multidimensional, holistic models for communication & education
• right relationship & reciprocity with land
• syncing with natural cycles & calendars
• planting seeds for sovereignty
• cross-cultural pollination, diplomacy & peacemaking
✷ Community Revitalization & Cultural Regeneration
• stewardship of Life, self and one-an-other
• tending to death, grief, and intergenerational healing in family & community

• storytelling, song, dance, grief, celebration, ceremony
• joyful interdependence & co-creation

My practices, tools, and stories have been carefully gathered in respect and reverence for the cyclical/non-linear wisdom and life-sustaining systems that we both hold and are held within, so that we may cross the thresholds of life and death into a more vital, authentic, and fulfilling way of being in the world.
Here are some themes we may touch on in our time together:
Healing is not linear… it is a spiral.
A dynamic, multidimensional journey of perpetually seeking Balance and returning, again and again,
to our Center.

Why do you want to be healthy? Why do you want to have more energy – for what?Who in your life benefits from – or depends on – you to be well? To be present and available? To be able to listen and feel the full capacity of your Heart…and share it, too? (I sure hope…

If I told you what is possible in the world of regenerative detoxification, you probably would not believe me at first. And if you are like most humans out there, neither would you likely try something so removed from modern, mainstream currents of Western/allopathic medicine…unless that is, you are suffering & out of options. Most…
